24x7 helpline for women’s safety
Women travelling by local trains have some horrifying tales to tell about sexual harassment. They often don't know what to do in such a situation. There's good news for you as you can now raise your voice and your grievances will be addressed at the earliest as the Pune railway division has started a new 24x7 helpline number for female passengers.
After receiving several complaints from female passengers, the Pune railway division on Tuesday started the new helpline number that is 9503013705. The helpline number will be based at the Pune Railway protection force (RPF) headquarter at Pune railway station.
